Theme Dinner

Our most recent cheap date was an Asian-Fusion themed dinner. I prepared the food, lit some candles, put on some mood music and threw some large pillows around the coffee table.  On the menu:  pad thai, asian salad, sesame asparagus and green tea.  I meant to make my own fortune cookies and write something romantic in them, but I spaced it.  I did manage to dress accordingly (couldn't find my kimono, so I just wore a kimono-like mini dress).

It was almost exotic! 

When Eric got home and saw the meal, he said he wished he had brought me flowers.  Instead, he went to the spare room and whipped one up out of construction paper and scotch tape!  Tres sweet!
